TANZANIAN TOURIST VISA: A VALID U.S. PASSPORT NEEDED

Must have at least 6 months of validity left on the passport beyond your intended stay

You must have at least TWO blank visa pages. Amendment pages do not count

One Visa Application Form for Tanzania, completed in full.

Two 2" x 2" passport type photographs and a copy of recent bank statement / or Flight itinerary /invoice for prepaid stay (eg. Hotel, Safari)

If the visa application is not completely filled out, signed and dated, we will not be able to submit your documents to the embassy, which will result in significant delays in the processing time.
 

Citizens of the following countries and persons carrying a Travel Document must refer their request for visas to the DarEs Salam office:
Tanzania, Somalia, Lebanon, bangladesh, Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Yemen, Morocco, Tunisia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, west Africa.

Citizens of the following countries do not need a visa for stay up to 90 days:
Namibia, Romania, Rwanda, Hong Kong, Commonwealth states except UK, Canada, Nigeria, India, S. Africa.

EMBASSY FEE:

U.S. citizen - $100.00 per visa - Tourist/Business One Year Multiple Entry

Non U.S. citizen - $50.00 per visa - Tourist/Business Three Month Single Entry

Regular Processing: 10 business days - 48 hour rush processing available/ additional $20.00 to the embassy.

RETURN MAIL FEDERAL EXPRESS/USPS - $20.00 per address (up to three passports) - $25.00 per address (four to six passports or overweight package)- $32.00 per address (to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, or Saturday delivery)
