During & After a Ride
Ride requests should only be made when you’re ready to ride and near the pickup location. This enables drivers to operate efficiently on the platform. Sometimes you may wish to cancel a ride request after it has been accepted by a driver.
Select from the available vehicle options by using the slider at the bottom of the app tapping on any of the icons will display rates for that option. App shows you estimated rate before you ride.
Once you’ve set your location and vehicle option, tap “Make Reservation” to request your ride.
After each ride, you’ll have the opportunity to rate your driver, and they will rate you. When requesting a ride, you’ll be able to see your driver’s rating and they’ll be able to see yours. Global Sedan has rigorous standards for drivers, and each rating you give can have an impact on that driver’s future with Global Sedan. In addition, passengers with a low star rating may not have their requests accepted as often.
The star rating should be based on your interaction with the driver during the ride. When choosing a rating, consider whether your driver was friendly, safe, a good navigator, and made you want to use Global Sedan again.
5 stars means the ride was great, and met Global Sedan standards. Anything lower than 5 indicates that you were somehow unhappy with the ride, and we want to know why! Please use the comment box in the app to leave feedback.
Global Sedan is all about community. In order to maintain the magic that is Global Sedan, each community member, whether they are a passenger or a driver, is expected to uphold Global Sedan community standards and values.
Since the payments are generated by the system, any concerns about the price of a ride should be submitted through the ride review feature and not reflected in the star rating of your driver.
